Bennett Elementary is an International Baccalaureate K-5 school on the west side of Fort Collins. Our primary goal for all students is to guide and help them develop international mindedness. Internationally minded IB learners strive to be: Inquirers, Knowledgeable, Thinkers, Communicators, Principled, Open-Minded, Caring, Risk-takers, Balanced, and Reflective. While high academic performance is important, it is seen as a means to an end. We see daily our students taking action to make our community a better place to live and learn. We believe students need to be responsible for their own learning and in cooperation with the teacher help make the learning significant and engaging to them. We strive to bring a global perspective to our learning to help students see and understand big ideas from multiple points of view. Bennett is an incredible learning community.
