Hello! My name is Nicole Hallenbeck and I am the music specialist at Bennett Elementary. My favorite thing about working in education is helping children find their voice (literally and figuratively)!
Outside of teaching, I enjoy time with my children, and we like to get out in the beautiful Colorado outdoors. I also participate in music as a vocalist with the Larimer Chorale, and can be found playing around on my flute and ukulele!
I am from Colorado, born and raised! My family consists of two boys and both are Bennett Broncos.
My educational background includes attending the University of Northern Colorado for my bachelor’s degree in K-12 music education. I completed my master’s degree at CSU and am a level III certified Kodály teacher.
I have taught at Bennett Elementary for 16 years. It’s an honor to be a part of this community.
My favorite children’s book is And To Think That We Thought That We’d Never Be Friends by Mary Ann Hoberman because it tells the story of how the world uses music to settle their differences.
