What is the BCO?

The Bennett Community Organization (BCO) is a parent group who meets monthly and supports our school through a variety of ways. It’s a PTO with a fancy name!

We would LOVE to have you join us! Time commitment is MINIMAL and we will take anything you have to give. Our meetings this year (2018-19) will be held on the second Monday of the month at 7pm in the Media Center at school- 9/10, 10/8, 11/12, 12/10, 1/14, 2/11, 3/11, 4/8, and 5/13. You are welcome to come to some, ONE,  or all of the meetings. No need to RSVP- just show up and introduce yourself. We can’t wait to meet you!

We support Bennett by organizing events such as the bi-annual Scholastic Book Fair as well as the Sock Hop, Field Day, Bronco Stampede, and the Spaghetti Dinner. Additionally we support by spoiling staff members throughout the year with lunches and organizing donations for events like the annual staff Holiday Party and Teacher Appreciation Week.

These are some of the many ways, large and small, to be involved and to make your student’s school a better place.

You will need to register as a volunteer in order to work with students in any capacity.  This is purely a SAFETY measure so THANK YOU for taking the time to do it. You can do that by visiting the link and registering as a volunteer- You can also do this by using the computers in the library at your first meeting.

We hope that you will consider joining our efforts to make Bennett the best school ever. Once again, being a BCO member is not a life time commitment of bake sales and meetings. We understand your busy schedule and will meet you where you are at!

We hope to see you soon!
