Class Description: This dance class combines Jazz and Hip-Hop to create a challenging and upbeat environment for

dancers to move in. In addition to learning the terminology associated with Jazz and HipHop, students will create and

perform new combinations that emphasize rhythm and musicality. No socks or shoes please!

 

3rd-5th Hip Hop |Tuesdays |

Class Description: This beginner level Hip Hop class involves high energy and upbeat music. Students will practice

body isolations and footwork in order to work on their technique and performance. It is highly suggested that dancers

wear socks and sneakers to this class.

Instructor's Name/Bio: Morgan Whitman - After being formally trained at Goucher College in Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop,

Africanist, and Modern; Morgan Whitman discovered a passion for teaching young and creative minds the joys and benefits of dancing. She has four years of teaching experience from students ages ten to forty for classes ranging from 45 min to 2 hours. She enjoys choreographing for her students and infusing a variety of genres and a range of difficulty in order to keep her dancers challenged and engaged.
