After about a year of extensive research and community engagement, the Board of Education during Tuesday night’s meeting voted in favor of changing bell schedules beginning in the 2019-20 school year. The vote was 7 to 0, following considerable debate among Board Directors.
After analyzing District staff’s final report on the school start-times exploration, and considering myriad community input and potential effects, the Board decided to implement Modified Scenario B, which was created in direct response to feedback from the community.
