The BCO would like to thank everyone who came out yesterday for the Spaghetti Dinner, the 31th annual Bennett Community Dinner. It was a HUGE success, and the only green and compostable event at Bennett! We hope you all had as much fun as we did. A special thanks goes out to everyone who volunteered taking tickets, prepping & serving food or cleaning up. You are all amazing! We’d also like to thank the Bennett Cub Scout Pack 91 who were instrumental in many ways and created a wonderful presence in their awesome uniforms. Great job Scouts!!!
Bennett will be collecting frozen turkeys for the Larimer County Food Bank next Thursday the 21st. Ms. Shig, with the help of the student leadership team, will collect them at our front door! All next week we will also be collecting canned goods. If you can bring a turkey or any canned food it will be greatly appreciated!
During the week of Nov. 11-15, all Poudre School District schools will participate in lockdown drills as part of the district’s ongoing safety and security efforts. We know we will participate in a drill that week but won’t know the specific time at which it will occur. We will make an announcement over our intercom when the lockdown drill is underway and emphasize that’s it’s only a drill and that there isn’t an active threat to our school. During a lockdown drill, students and staff are directed to a safe location inside the building.
Thank you to everyone who donated to and volunteered during this year's Bronco Stampede! We raised a total of about $10,000. This fell short of our goal, but the funds raised will be used this year to support the events and programs BCO typically organizes. If you didn't donate but would still like to, please feel free to bring in checks or cash to the front office or donate online through your School Pay account.
