Greetings from the Bennett Community Organization! Your PTO, the BCO! I am Eric, your BCO Co-President. It is October 18th, which means that the Bronco StamREAD starts TODAY! Please take the following actions to help us have an amazing Read-A-Thon!

  1. Register your student! Find the registration papers that were sent home and sign your student up this week! Every student who signs up earns an entry into the raffle for some fun prizes! Be sure to hang onto the registration sheet as it contains a unique code for your student that will be used to log in and track their minutes read.
  2. Have your child read for at least 20 minutes per day! You know that you want the quiet time at home.
  3. Have your child log their reading minutes on the Read-A-Thon website! Did they read at school? Log the minutes! Did you read to them at bedtime? Log the minutes! Does your child never put down a book from the time they get home until the time they pass out at night? Log the minutes!
  4. Collect donations from family, friends, and enemies! Every dollar helps us reach our goal! We are aiming to earn $50 per student to help us meet our fundraising goal to support students and teachers!
  5. Earn a chance to win some cool prizes!

A registration reminder sheet will be sent home with your student today. If you have trouble registering them, or have lost their unique registration code, please let us know. We’re here to help!
