An IB World School

Principal's Message

Welcome Bennett Broncos!

I am thrilled to be joining this amazing school as the new principal for the 2024-2025 school year! I have felt so welcomed and supported as we have begun this new school year. This year we are embracing a Year of Discovery. As always, our staff is committed to continually improve in meeting the needs of ALL students and families. As the new principal I have 3 main goals for the year. I am committed to the following:

  1. Learning deeply about what makes Bennett thrive
  2. Nurturing and supporting a collaborative community of thinkers, learners and doers committed to continually identifying, strengthening, and implementing practices (aligned with our belief in IB practices and policies, research-based best practices, and our own deep knowledge and understanding of teaching and learning) that will move us toward better meeting the emotional, academic and social needs of ALL students at Bennett (Yes, I know this is lengthy and a bit wordy, but it really encompasses the complexity of the work our staff engages in every day)
  3. Clarifying and monitoring our collective and individual goals and celebrating our success throughout the year

Please hold me accountable to these goals, as I am asking my staff to do as well. I encourage you to join me at our School Accountability Committee (SAC) and/or at our Bennett Community Organization (BCO) where we are working together to uncover even more ways to improve the Bennett experience for students, staff and families.

Please reach out if you would like to set a time to meet. I also look forward to seeing you at our beginning of the year events! Please stay tuned for more communication about how to get involved or just join us in the fun.

In Partnership,
