Principal's Message

Welcome Back Bennett Broncos!

It has been a great start to the 25-26 school year. With our half days because of heat and still trying to fit everything into our time with students, it has been exciting to say the least. This year we are focusing on CELEBRATING OUR SUCCESSES. I urge you to join in and share celebrations with us so we can highlight all of the great things happening for our students, staff and families! My assistant principal and I have committed to three new goals for this year that will focus our work:

  1. SUPPORTING COLLABORATION through facilitation of professional learning communities focused on continually refining our instructional practices to meet the needs of ALL students.
  2. CELEBRATING STAFF GROWTH through collaborative goal setting, ongoing feedback and support, reflection, and celebrating successes throughout the year.
  3. ENSURING STUDENT GROWTH through participation in collaborative groups (MTSS, PLCs, Attendance tracking) and engaging with students, staff, and families to find ways to help all students get on track toward attaining grade level proficiency or higher.

I am looking forward to my continual partnership with our School Accountability Committee (SAC) and our Bennett Community Organization (BCO) to strengthen our work to support all students and families and ensure that our Bennett Community is supported and feels welcome at our school. Please continue to support these organizations by attending our meetings or joining the BCO and supporting financially or by volunteering at some of the upcoming events!

If you are new to the community, please come by and see what makes Bennett such a special place to be!

In Partnership,
