Hello! My name is Megan Swonder and I am a Kindergarten teacher at Bennett Elementary. My favorite thing about working in education is building relationships with students and their families. I love when my former students come back to visit so I can see how they are doing and how much they have grown. Teaching Kindergarten is fun because I get to see the progress that students make both academically and socially in their first year at Bennett. 

I am a Fort Collins native and graduated from Rocky Mountain High School. I earned my bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado. I am married to my husband Steve, and we have one dog named Sutton. When I am not at work I enjoy listening to music, hiking, skiing, paddle boarding, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
